1. Information we collect
- Mobile number — to verify you with a one-time code and track your free calculations.
- Birth and event details — date, time and place of birth, or your birth star and Moon sign, and the event you want to time.
- Billing details (buyers only) — name, email, state and optional company name/GSTIN, used to issue GST tax invoices.
- Payments — processed by Razorpay. We never see or store card numbers, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
2. Your API key
If you connect your own Google AI key, it is kept only in your own browser on your device. It is never sent to or stored on our systems, and you can remove it at any time.
3. How we use your information
To verify your account, calculate your personalised timings, issue and email invoices, and respond when you contact support. We may send occasional WhatsApp or email messages about your account; you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. It is shared only with services needed to run Vedic Timing: an SMS provider for verification codes, payment providers (UPI today; online card payment when enabled), Zoho Books and email services for invoices, and WhatsApp when you contact us for support.
5. Advertising cookies (Google Ads)
We use the Google Ads tag to measure whether our ads lead to purchases. It records that a visit came from an ad and, when you buy, the order id and amount, and shares these with Google LLC for ad measurement and optimisation. Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec are asked first; you can accept, reject or change your choice anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Learn how Google uses this data: business.safety.google/privacy.
6. Retention and your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data by writing to us from your registered contact. Tax invoices are kept for the period required under Indian GST law.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections and restricted access to protect your information, though no online service can guarantee absolute security.
